AirAsia resumes flights impacted by the Mount Lewotobi Volcanic Eruption

SEPANG, 19 June 2025 – AirAsia has resumed operations to and from the affected destinations following the eruption of Mount Lewotobi in Indonesia's East Nusa Tenggara region, which had caused volcanic ash clouds and posed a significant threat to safe aircraft operations in the vicinity of volcanic clouds.
A number of flights operated by AirAsia Malaysia (AK), AirAsia Indonesia (QZ) and AirAsia X Malaysia (D7) to and from Bali, Lombok and Labuan Bajo, which have been cancelled or rescheduled since 18 June 2025, have now resumed.
The weather event remains fluid and AirAsia guests travelling to/from the affected destinations are encouraged to check their latest flight status on the AirAsia MOVE app and email notifications regarding any changes or updates.
