MOA Globe Lights Up as AirAsia Philippines Celebrates 16th Skytrax Win with Fares from as Low as PHP116

23 June 2025, Manila, Philippines — AirAsia Philippines lit up the iconic MOA Globe in red and gold to mark its 16th consecutive recognition as the World’s Best Low-Cost Airline at the prestigious 2025 Skytrax World Airline Awards.

With the theme “Still Winning, Still Gold,” the activation celebrates AirAsia’s enduring legacy as the gold standard in low-cost travel, delivering quality service, accessible fares, and seamless connectivity across the region.

To commemorate this golden milestone, AirAsia Philippines launched special promo fares starting at just PHP116 one-way base fare for select domestic and international destinations. Over 450,000 seats are available for booking from June 18 to July 3, 2025, for travel between July 2, 2025, and March 31, 2026.

“As we lit up the MOA Globe, we also illuminated the journey that brought us here---16 golden years of service built on trust and support from millions of guests who choose to fly with us time and time again. Above all, we’re winning because of our dedicated Allstars (employees). This is what makes our winning story purposefully golden---continuously delivering safe, reliable service, making travel accessible to Filipinos." AirAsia Philippines President and General Manager Suresh Bangah said.

Meanwhile, in its megahub in Kuala Lumpur, AirAsia has also launched a special aircraft livery to commemorate the win that will fly across the AirAsia network symbolising its enduring excellence, strength, and the trust of close to a billion passengers since its inception in 2001.
