AirAsia India Travel Advisory: Credit Account with 2-year validity for flight bookings up to 31 July; the validity of existing Credit Accounts extended

Guests booked with us,  between 23 March and 31 July 2020 can now choose either a Credit Account with a 2 year validity period or unlimited flight changes for flights departing up to 31 October 2020. All Credit Accounts previously issued for COVID-19 related disruptions will also be provided with an automatic extension of validity up to 2 years for future travel.

AirAsia India receives DGCA approval to conduct online regulatory trainings

AirAsia is the first airline in India to attain DGCA approval to conduct Regulatory Training for Pilots through “Distance Learning Training Program”. The purpose of the recurrent training is to refresh and keep the pilots stimulated and improve their skills with effective training programs on Technical systems, Procedures, Special Operations, Aircraft Performance, Safety Management System, Crew Resource Management and Safety Procedures. Earlier, these flight crew trainings were conducted by contact classroom sessions. Distance learning will have the benefit of ensuring social distancing, meeting regulatory requirements and cost savings.

[Updated as of 10 March 2020 at 1600hrs GMT+8] Travel Advisory: AirAsia extends period of credit account redemption for selected destinations

AirAsia is extending the period to obtain credit accounts for guests with flight bookings until 30 April to/from selected destinations, including China, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.

Guests with flight bookings between India and Thailand are also eligible for voluntary cancellations in the form of credit account redemption.
