Thai AirAsia X is all set to take off from Don Mueang this 1 October Check-In Counters 6-7 on 3rd Floor of International Terminal 1
BANGKOK, 27 September 2024 - Thai AirAsia X (XJ) is counting down to the date that all of its flights will be operated out of Don Mueang Airport (DMK).
From 1 October 2024, guests can look forward to travelling more conveniently with faster immigration clearance through Thai AirAsia and Thai AirAsia X’s main hub in Bangkok-Don Mueang (DMK).
Thai AirAsia X guests traveling on Monday (30 September) and Tuesday (1 October 2024) to Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo, Nagoya, Seoul, Shanghai and Sydney* are recommended to review their flight schedules to avoid issues during the transition.

Mr. Tassapon Bijleveld, CEO of Thai AirAsia X, said “The airline is ready to operate out of Don Mueang Airport from 1 October providing more seamless connectivity onto the majority of other Thai AirAsia or Thai Airasia X services to and from Bangkok. Guests traveling on Thai AirAsia X during the transition period are highly recommended to review flight schedules before departure. Notification emails are being sent directly to all affected guests to provide clear information during the move, during which departure and arrival times are to remain as indicated.”
From October, Thai AirAsia X passengers can check in at Don Mueang Airport at counters 6-7 on the 3rd floor of International Departure Terminal 1. Check-in counters will open the usual 3 hours before each flight. For added convenience, guests may check-in in advance through via AirAsia MOVE mobile application and airasia.com
While all Thai AirAsia X will operate from DMK airport as of 1 October 2024, four Thai AirAsia (FD) domestic routes will continue to operate out of Suvarnabhumi Airport while also being available from Don Mueang. The routes are to Chiang Mai, Phuket, Krabi and Hat Yai.
*Thai AirAsia X Don Mueang-Sydney route will resume from 1 December 2024
