AirAsia Philippines gifts 100 OFWs with FREE flights to Singapore and Manila

alwaysREDy magbigay saya ngayong Pasko

Manila, 26 November 2021 – In celebration of our Overseas Filipino Workers’ (OFW) heroism and sacrifices, and as an early Christmas gift, AirAsia Philippines is giving FREE flights from Manila to Singapore and Singapore to Manila on 4 December 2021 via Z2 825 and Z2 826 respectively.

The event dubbed as “alwaysREDy magbigay saya ngayong Pasko” or always ready to give joy this Christmas aims to bring home OFWs from Singapore in time for the month long Christmas and New year celebrations which also coincide with AirAsia’s 20th year anniversary.

AirAsia Philippines Spokesperson Steve Dailisan said, “We know for a fact that family is the main reason our OFWs chose to work abroad and be away for a long period of time.  That is why in this season of giving and sharing, we want to reward them with the opportunity to spend time with family. Whatever they save from their supposed airfare can be used to buy gifts for their loved ones back home.  With alwaysREDy magbigay saya ngayong Pasko, we hope to foster the spirit of giving and sharing.”

The following are considered as eligible guests for travel to Singapore: those who have a Safe Travel pass or an approved letter of entry from a relevant agency; a spouse or children of Singapore residents who applied for permission; holders of a long-term/short-term visit pass or student pass with permission to enter; and Work Pass holders.

Travel requirements to Singapore include the following: must be fully vaccinated before arrival with a hard copy of COVID-19 vaccination certificate; RT-PCR or Rapid Antigen test taken at least 48 hours before departure; Singapore Arrival Card with Electronic Health Declaration; and a Philippine Bureau of Immigration Declaration Form.

Guests will also be required to undergo a 10-day quarantine in a hotel or a place of residence upon arrival in Singapore and must take an RT-PCR test on their last day of quarantine.

Those who wish to avail of the free flight from/to Singapore may send an email to communications@airasia.com or may sign up on this link for further information.

“This is just an opening salvo of our awaysREDy magbigay saya ngayong Pasko program. Soon we will reach out to the underprivileged yet deserving individuals and families so that they too may be inspired in sharing the joy of Christmas,” Dailisan added.
