Bengaluru, January 25, 2019: India’s low cost airline, AirAsia India today introduced a festive launch offer for flyers with fares as low as INR 899 for domestic travel and INR 2399 for international travel. This scheme will help flyers plan their travel well in advance at affordable rates compared to high prices around the festive season.

Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Sunil Bhaskaran, MD & CEO, AirAsia India, said, “We are seeing that a significant number of flyers planning their travel around festivals 6-8 months in advance. The trend of advance booking in domestic travel has grown year-on-year for AirAsia and our Early Bird Sale is to help them book at a competitive rate compared to other airlines. At AirAsia, we want to make every occasion special for our flyers so they can spend more time with their friends, family and loved ones.”

The Early Bird Sale goes live on 28 January 2019 and ends on 3 February 2019. The travel dates are from 1 August 2019 to 4 February 2020. This offer is available on all flights operated by AirAsia’s Group network, viz. AirAsia India (Flight code i5), AirAsia Berhad (Flight code AK), Thai AirAsia (Flight code FD) and AirAsia X (Flight code D7).

Guests can book their flights on www.airasia.com or the AirAsia Mobile App and avail fares as low as INR 899 for domestic and INR 2399 for international flights. During the festive holidays, AirAsia India encourages all guests to conduct self-check in via the website, mobile app or airport kiosks, and to arrive at the airport at least 2-3 hours prior to flight departure. For guests with check-in baggage, baggage drop counters close 60 minutes before flight departure.
