Travel Advisory: Kochi flights on 15-17 August 2018

SEPANG, 15 August 2018 - AirAsia will be cancelling some flights to Kochi, India from 15 to 17 August 2018 due to the suspension of operations by Cochin International Airport following heavy rains in Kerala state.

Cancelled flights

Affected guests may choose one of the following service recovery options:

  1. Move flight: One-time flight change to a new travel date on the same route within 14 calendar days from original flight time without additional cost, subject to seat availability; OR

  2. Reroute: One-time reroute via Bengaluru (BLR) or Chennai (MAA) or Tiruchirappalli (TRZ) or Hyderabad (HYD) or Visakhapatnam (VTZ) to/from Kochi (COK) within 7 calendar days of the original travel date without additional cost, subject to seat availability; OR

  3. Credit account: Retain the value of your fare in your AirAsia BIG Loyalty account for future travel with AirAsia. The online credit account is valid for booking within 90 calendar days from the date of issue and can be issued to AirAsia BIG Members only; OR

  4. Full refund: Obtain a full refund to your original payment method for the amount equivalent to your booking.

Guests who wish to move flight or reroute are required to provide a new flight date and time as well as passenger name(s) to our Customer Support team via Twitter (@AirAsiaSupport) or Live Chat on support.airasia.com.

Guests who opt for a credit account / full refund must fill in an eForm on support.airasia.com:

  1. Click on the Email Us tab on the right panel

  2. Select Enquiry/Request under Type of Feedback

  3. Select Booking under Sub Category 1

  4. Select Kochi Airport Closure for Sub Category 2

  5. Type in your option under Subject: “Kochi - Credit Account” OR “Kochi - Full Refund”

  6. Complete the remaining form fields and click Submit to proceed

    a. For credit account, please provide your AirAsia BIG Loyalty member ID
