Travel Advisory: AirAsia flights between Chiang Mai, Thailand (CNX) - Yangon, Myanmar (RGN)

BANGKOK, 29 November 2018 - AirAsia will suspend services between Chiang Mai, Thailand and Yangon, Myanmar from 22 January 2019 onward.

In order to assist our guests to make alternate travel arrangements and to minimise the inconvenience, affected guests will be offered the following options:

1. Move flight: Change to a new travel date on the same route prior to route suspension on 22 January 2019, without any additional cost and subject to seat availability; OR

2. Reroute:  One time reroute with original travel date and destination, to transit via Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok on AirAsia Thailand flights (code FD) without any additional cost and subject to seat availability; OR

3. Credit account: Retain the value of your booking in a Credit Account linked with your BIG member account as provided by guest for future travel with AirAsia. A valid BIG member account is mandatory for Credit Account option and it can be redeemed within 90 calendar days from the date of issue; OR

4. Full refund: Obtain a full refund in the amount equivalent to the original booking.

Affected guests will be notified via email, SMS or outbound call based on the contact details provided in the original booking. AirAsia strongly encourages all guests to update their contact details at airasia.com to ensure that they are contactable for further assistance.
