Thai AirAsia X Flight XJ602 and XJ603 Cancellations 15 Nov - 31 Dec 2018 between Bangkok and Tokyo

Bangkok, 8 October 2018 - Due to changes to Thai AirAsia X's aircraft management plan, the airline has to reduce the frequency of its Bangkok-Tokyo flights from 3 to 2 flights per day between 15 November – 31 December 2018.

Cancelled flights between 15 Nov – 31 Dec 2018 include:

Flights XJ600/XJ601 and XJ606/XJ607 between Bangkok and Tokyo will operate as usual.

Affected passengers have been informed via the contact information provided in their booking and have access to the following options;

  1. Move flight: One-time flight change to a new departure date on the same route within 180 calendar days from original scheduled flight date without additional cost, subject to seat availability; OR

  2. Reroute: One-time reroute to other Japanese destinations operated by Thai AirAsia X (Flight code XJ) including Osaka (KIX), Nagoya (NGO) and Sapporo (CTS) within 180 calendar days of the original travel date without additional cost, subject to route and seat availability. Remark: The reroute option will not cover other expenditures incurred from the reroute such as transportation cost between cities.

  3. Credit account: Retain the value of your booking in your AirAsia BIG Loyalty account. The online credit account is to be redeemed for booking within 90 calendar days from the issuance date for your future travel with us. The actual travel dates can be after the expiry date as long as our flight schedule is out; OR

  4. Full refund: Obtain a full refund to your original payment method for the amount equivalent to your booking.

Passengers whose Fly-Thru connections are affected will be able to change to an alternate flight 1 time at no cost.

  • Group Booking to contact the respective group desk

For bookings made through a travel agent or third party, kindly contact the travel agent directly.
